Experienced Archers

Am I Experienced?

I would consider someone an “experienced archer” if they have demonstrated the ability to hit the target consistently. This person is ready to begin to learn the theory and technique that will improve their accuracy and precision.

What is the archer’s paradox, and how does it affect my shooting? What’s the difference between accuracy and precision, and why do I need both? What are the 11 Steps of Shooting? Learn all of this and more in the 10 week STEPS OF SHOOTING course.

Can’t commit to 10 weeks, or want some extra reinforcement? Check out the weekly ADVANCED SKILLS COURSE and see your scores improve!

Classes coming soon. Must be 8 years old and have ArrowDynamics Coach approval to attend. Classes are currently combined, youth and adult.

junior coach

“See one, do one, teach one.” This is the motto that many med schools follow, and I have also found it to be an effective way to learn skills. Teaching skills solidifies them in a way that practice alone doesn’t.

For experienced archers, ages 13 and older, the junior coach program allows participants to improve their archery skills through coaching, as well as gain leadership skills and earn volunteer hours.

As an added benefit, for every two hours of volunteer coaching, participants will earn an hour of range time! After all, the best way to improve your coaching skills is to play - I mean practice - more!!

To qualify you must be at least 13 years old, demonstrate the ability to hit the target consistently, and have a passion for archery!
